AI- The grater future or the greater curse?

In the movies especially, in the sci-fi movies we have seen that how artificial intelligence can take over the world. Now that we are also entering the world of AI, the question arises can AI take over our world too? In this blog, we are going to discuss the facts about this matter. So stay along with us.

In the first place, we have to understand how AI works. For that, you can read our other blog on the function of AI. When you are able to understand the process of AI, you will automatically get that, the situation we see in the movies is still far away. But then comes news like this Tesla robot malfunctions, brutally attacks engineer | World Tech News | WION

So are we in danger?

In this world, when a new evolutionary invention has been made, people take time to adopt that invention, whether it’s a mobile phone or a car. The same thing is happening with AI. I am not saying that every invention mankind has ever made, always brought peace to the world but yes, we have to give it some time. To actually see if it’s dangerous or not. So let’s see how AI will change our lives for the betterment and then we will discuss the worst-case scenarios.

Since we have added AI to our daily work, things are moving pretty faster than ever. Like in the past, we had to depend on humans for work like copywriting, graphic designing, small coding, etc. But now things have changed. If anyone wants, they can do these kinds of work using the help of AI. Not just that, AI is now being introduced in the science sections as well. Scientists are using artificial intelligence on various theses. Not in the major works but still AI is being used at least in minor ones. Nowadays generating images with the help of AI is pretty common. Not only images but also videos and music. Think of it, just 5-10 years ago these works were only done by humans. These were our primary sections of art. But now it’s not limited to us only, machines can also do the art we used to do. This is just fascinating. I can literally sit al day and write about a thousand ways in which AI is beneficial to us.

But as we know, every coin has two sides. AI can be beneficial as well as harmful to us. It really depends on how we use it. If someone decides that he will train AI to do harmful acts, there is nothing we can do. Because in today’s world knowledge is basically free. Anyone can use it in the wrong way.

So we can not just throw away the possibility of AI surpassing humans and taking the authority. As Murphy’s law says, “ If anything can go wrong, it will go wrong.”
